Kolibri Bead Supplies was founded in 2010 in Rosenheim, Germany. In 2012 we relocated our stock to Malta and launched our first online bead shop with the goal of providing high-quality beading supplies at affordable prices. The business grew rapidly, and in 2015 we moved to our current location in Drogheda, Ireland, where we continue to expand our range and serve jewellery makers across Ireland, the UK, Europe and worldwide.

Our Commitment to the Environment

Smaller packaging: We use minimal packaging and combine multiple items of the same product into one bag whenever possible.
Reusing materials: We reuse bubble wrap and the vast majority of cardboard boxes. We even repurpose cardboard into bobbins for cord and chain.
Eco-friendly padded envelopes: All our mailers are 100% recyclable and made from FSC-certified sources.
Paper policy: We avoid glossy paper. All invoices and stickers are printed on environmentally friendly, recyclable paper. Receipts use FSC-certified paper with minimal ink.
Green delivery: We cycle to the post office daily (weather permitting) to reduce our carbon footprint while staying active.
Energy saving: In our office and warehouse we only use low-energy equipment and switch off all computers, printers and lights every evening.
